Make space to bloom

Let’s be honest — life gets busy. As women, we juggle it all: work, family, meals, caregiving, laundry piles, appointments, and a heart that somehow still wants to pour out encouragement to others. But in the midst of the noise and the lists and the late-night thinking… we often forget something essential: our own soul care. We need to bloom, where we are planted!
Self-care isn’t selfish when it’s rooted in God. It’s actually soul-care. And the most meaningful way to care for your soul is by staying connected to the One who created it.
Even Jesus, in the middle of His powerful, people-filled ministry, took time to withdraw, pray, and rest (Luke 5:16). If the Son of God needed quiet moments with the Father, how much more do we?
This week, I want to encourage you to slow down for just a few minutes and ask yourself:
When was the last time I sat with God’s Word just for me?
Am I pouring from a full cup or running on spiritual fumes?
What does it look like to “bloom” in this season — even if I feel buried?
You don’t have to block out hours of silence or have the perfect morning routine to meet with Jesus. Just start with a verse, a journal page, a prayer whispered between loads of laundry. Give Him five minutes of your attention — and watch how He gives you peace in return.
Try writing out a Scripture each morning this week. (Need a plan? Grab my Bloom in Faith Scripture Writing guide!) Or take one of the journal prompts from this month’s pack and invite God to speak into your heart.
Friend, you are not forgotten in the busyness. God sees you, loves you, and is inviting you to breathe, slow down, and bloom in His presence. Let this be the season you choose soul-care rooted in His Word.
You were never meant to do it all alone. You were meant to walk with Him — one quiet, grace-filled step at a time. 🌿
