Comparison is the Thief of Joy

ree

Psalm 139:14

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well “

Hey Sister! You may be stuck in a comparison trap right now, you maybe comparing your blessings to someone else’s. You may be thinking you are far behind.

Friend I am here to remind you; you are right where God has planted you. It

may not be exactly what you thought but it’s where he needs you right now.

You have so many seeds to plant.

When you were created by God, he knew everything you would become, he

created every hair on your head, every attribute you have. When I think

about that it gives me chills. God knows me by name! That’s amazing!

When I was younger, I used to compare myself to my sisters. One was super

outgoing and everyone loved her, the other one was also outgoing and this

super cute blonde that everyone loved. I was the shy girl, the one that most

kids picked on.

I was the last to get picked in anything. I would get made fun of for being

the good girl, which I began to dislike being called the good girl. I often

wondered why God made me so sensitive and so different. Not until 34

years old I was taught God made me wonderfully and for a specific purpose

on purpose.

My friend, if you have struggled with this comparison trap or these lies from

the enemy. You can walk in truth today that you don’t need to compare

yourself to someone else. You were created on purpose by God for a specific

purpose.

Comparison is not from God it is from the enemy. You may feel like you are stuck , you are never going

to recover from the emotional damage. Friend I am hear to remind you, God will not keep

you there. Keep moving in faith in his purpose for your life. Step into the confidence he gave you

and live fully in your purpose.

You are beautifully and wonderfully made in God’s perfect design. You may

not be where you want to be, but God. Let him take the reins and follow

him. Step into the purpose God has for you.

Declare:

I am uniquely and wonderfully made by God. He knew exactly who I would be, and he still created me. I am his beautiful child. I will let his promises fill my heart and soul ; not the lies and destruction from the enemy. I will move forward in the purpose God has for me. I am not stuck , by his strength I will keep going and he will fill my heart with joy.

Amen
