A Prayer for the Woman Who’s Tired

ree

💤 You’re not alone. If you’re feeling tired — deep down in your soul — this post is for you. The kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix. The kind that comes from carrying too much, for too long, without a break.

The kind of tired that whispers, “You can’t keep doing this.”

How many times have you said this? How many times have I said this over the last few years. Losing my husband and trying to raise boys, whoa let me tell you, I questioned God several times and cried these exact words, I can't keep doing this!!!

🕊️ Jesus Sees You

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Jesus isn’t offering a motivational pep talk. He’s offering rest. Not just physical rest, but rest for your mind, your spirit, your heart.

You don’t have to earn it. You don’t have to be “okay” to receive it. You just have to come to Him — exactly as you are.

💛 To the Woman Who’s Tired

You’ve been strong for everyone. You’ve kept things going even when you didn’t feel like it. You’ve prayed even when you didn’t hear answers.

But today, sweet friend, I want to remind you that it’s okay to rest.

You don’t have to carry everything.

You don’t have to fix it all.

You don’t have to figure it all out before you come to God.

🙏 A Prayer for You

I’ve written this prayer for you — the woman who is weary but still believing. The one who needs space to breathe. The one who needs to be reminded that it’s okay to lay it all down.

Keep it in your Bible, pin it to your mirror, or tuck it into your journal — let it be a reminder that Jesus invites you to rest, not run.

You are seen.

You are loved.

You are held.

And you are invited to come.

Just as you are.
